Also known as White Wakerobin, this North American woodland plant is the showiest of all native trilliums. It features outward-facing white flowers with three petals that fade to pink as they mature. Blooming slightly later than Trillium erectum, it has stalkless, broadly ovate mid-green leaves, making it a striking addition to any garden.
Native to Ontario.
Grows best in a moist, well-drained, humus rich, acidic to neutral soil, in partial to full shade. Trilliums will go dormant shortly after flowering, usually early summer.
