Two-Row Stonecrop grows in a low, mat-like trailing habit. It produces clusters of deep crimson star-shaped flowers and forms dense mats of green leaves with deep red edges during the summer. In the fall, the leaves turn a vibrant purple-red and are considered semi-evergreen. During winter, old growth withers away to reveal new crimson rosettes. This plant blooms from mid to late summer.
Thrives in full to partial sun. Taller hybrids require full sun to achieve their best flowering, while creeping varieties can grow well in partial shade. Sedums prefer very well-drained soil with a neutral to slightly alkaline pH.
