Philodendron Tortum is highly popular for its thin, skeletal leaves that give it a distinct "bony" appearance. While it is often mistaken for a palm or a fern, it is a true member of the Philodendron family (Philodendron bipinattifidum), though scientists have recently reclassified it into the genus Thaumatophyllum. This is a self-heading variety, meaning it grows in a bushy, tree-like shape rather than climbing, an uncommon choice for collectors.
