Pinky Winky Hydrangea has a two-toned bloom with white flower panicles that turn pink. As the flower panicles continue to grow they produce new white florets at the tip. Medium-green leaves turn yellow, sometimes dull purple in fall. Bloom time is summer till frost.
Most hydrangea cultivars thrive in full sun to partial shade as long as they have adequate moisture and a rich, well-drained soil. This woody hydrangea can be trained or pruned into a tree form. Blooms on new wood, prune in late winter or early spring.
