Peegee Hydrangea has huge cones of small florets that emerge white, turning to pink. Medium-green leaves turn yellow, sometimes dull purple in fall. It is an upright spreading shrub with pointed dark green leaves, and bloom time is summer until frost.
Most hydrangea cultivars thrive in full sun to partial shade as long as they have adequate moisture and a rich, well-drained soil. This woody hydrangea can be trained or pruned into a tree form. Blooms on new wood, prune in late winter or early spring.
