This Hydrangea's distinctive oakleaf-shaped leaves turn bronze, maroon and purple in autumn, while cone-shaped masses of loosely-packed white florets fade to pink during bloom (June to July). Blooms on old wood, do not prune. Remove only spent flowers and dead, damaged or unsightly wood.

Most hydrangea cultivars thrive in full sun to partial shade as long as they have adequate moisture and a rich, well-drained soil.
