Also known as Helen's Flower, this upright perennial features daisy-like yellow flowers with vibrant orange splashes, blooming earlier and for a longer period than most other heleniums. The mid-green, narrow, serrated leaves can reach up to 15 cm in length. It also makes an excellent long-lasting cut flower.
Thrives in a fertile, moist soil, in full sun. To maintain compact habit and more flower count, it is recommended to prune helenium back to half by mid-June. Staking may be required if planted in shadier sites. Divide every 2-3 years to maintain flower production.
