This slow-growing, dense, narrow form of Japanese Black Pine features dark green needles that are shorter than most varieties. Its new growth is white, providing a striking contrast to the darker needles. Ideal for bonsai, container growing, or rock gardens.

Like all Japanese black pine, it is drought, salt, and heat tolerant, once established. Pinching the candles back mid-spring will encourage a more compact form.
