The Kentucky coffee tree stands as a majestic ornamental shade tree, boasting towering height and picturesque beauty. Its impressive foliage, reaching sizes of up to 3 feet in length and 2 feet in width, initially emerges in a pinkish-bronze hue before transitioning to a soothing blue-green shade. Fragrant greenish-white flowers appear on both male and female plants, and bloom time is may to june. Fertilized flowers on female plants give way to flat brown seed pods. 

Native to Ontario and mid to eastern U.S.A.

Thrives when planted in full sun and well draining soil, but is adaptable to various soil compositions.
