This Boxwood has lush emerald green foliage in the summer, which turns a bronze hue in the winter. Its naturally oval shape and dense foliage make it perfect for low hedges and an excellent choice as a foundation plant. To prevent tip dieback, protect it from drying winter winds. 

Boxwoods can tolerate full sun to full shade, dry to drought conditions, and a range of soil types. They can be pruned any time of the year and used for topiary, hedging, and stand-alone specimens. Young plants benefit from winter protection (burlap wrap) in an exposed location.
