Golden Spirit Smokebush has lime-green leaves in the spring that turn gold, coral, to orange and red in the fall. Small cloud-like pinkish flowers bloom above the leaves in the summer. Grows oval with age.

This plant will tolerate many types of soils i.e. rocky or dry, but not moist, low areas. It grows best in full sun, but will keep its colour in light shade. A light pruning will keep this bush to a manageable size, however, this will reduce blooming.
