The 'Dalmatian Purple' is a first-year-flowering foxglove that produces vibrant purple bell shaped blooms with darker speckled interiors. The green oval leaves feature pronounced veining. Fast-growing and easy to care for, it adds visual impact to the garden with its attractive foliage.

Best grown in average to medium moisture and a well-drained soil, in partial shade. Can tolerate full sun with adequate moisture. Plants rarely require staking due to the sturdy stems. As with most of the Digitalis cultivars, self-seeding. First-year-flowering selection. 

Caution: All parts of digitalis, if ingested, can cause illness. External contact with plant parts can cause irritation for some people.
