Catmint is a drought-tolerant perennial with clusters of sterile violet-blue flowers that rise above its aromatic, scalloped, and hairy gray-green leaves. Blooming from late spring through late summer, it adds long-lasting color and texture to the garden.
Grows best in an average to dry, well-drained soil, in full sun and is drought tolerant once established. Pruning plants back by half after the flowers fade will promote a second bloom and help to maintain a compact habit.
