Goeppertia rufibarba: “Furry Feather” Calathea in 6" Nursery Pot
Note: Plants and pots sold separately, unless stated otherwise.
Calatheas are popular house plants because of their decorative leaves. They're native to tropical Americas. You may notice that the leaves of the plant move up during the nighttime and move down during the daytime as the plant adjusts to changes in light. The Furry Feather has a unique fuzzy texture to the leaves.
Light: Do not place them in direct sunlight they will burn. They are great plants to put in the middle of rooms and away from light sources.
Water: Water when the top of the soil is dry this could be about every two weeks in the winter and as often as weekly in the spring/summer.
Humidity: Calatheas require high humidity otherwise their leaves will start to get brown edges.
