Rudbeckia triloba, or brown-eyed Susan, is a weedy, clump-forming plant native to parts of North America. It grows well in various soils and tolerates heat and some drought. The plant produces daisy-like flowers with yellow rays and brown-purple centers from summer to fall. It self-seeds and can naturalize. It is commonly used in naturalized areas, meadows, gardens, and borders. No major pest or disease issues, but watch out for powdery mildew, slugs, and snails.

Native to Eastern US and has naturalized throughout Ontario.

Also Known As Three Lobed Coneflower, Brown-eyed Coneflower, Thin-leaved Coneflower
