The Bottlebrush Buckeye is named for its bottlebrush-like spikes of white flowers. Dark green compound palmate leaves are yellow in the fall, this is noted for being one of the best summer flowering shrubs for shady areas. Spreads by suckers to form colonies, with a bloom time of late June.
Suitable for a wide variety of soils, with good drought tolerance. Thrives in partial sun to shady locations.
