A compact Hydrangea with large cones of white florets held by strong stems. In the fall these flowers turn pinkish and the medium-green leaves turn yellow or sometimes dull purple. Bloom time is summer.
Most hydrangea cultivars thrive in full sun to partial shade as long as they have adequate moisture and a rich, well-drained soil. This woody hydrangea can be trained or pruned into a tree form. Blooms on new wood, prune in late winter or early spring.
