Beardtongue blooms two-lipped pale pink to white tubular flowers arranged in loose spikes on leafy red stems. Its foliage emerges as deep burgundy and transitions to deep green with bronze hues by midseason. Blooming from June to August, it adds a dynamic and colorful presence to any garden.
Drought-tolerant showy perennial when planted in mass. Easy to grow in full sun in the perennial border.
