Caring for an indoor Anthurium pedatoradiatum, also known as the Giant Laceleaf Anthurium, requires attention to its specific needs. Firstly, it thrives in bright but indirect light, so placing it near a window with filtered sunlight is ideal. It appreciates high humidity, so misting the leaves regularly or placing a humidifier nearby can help create a suitable environment. Watering should be done when the top inch of soil feels dry, ensuring that excess water drains properly to prevent root rot. Fertilize the plant monthly during the growing season using a balanced houseplant fertilizer. Additionally, regularly wiping the large, glossy leaves with a damp cloth will keep them clean and free from dust. Overall, providing the right lighting, humidity, and watering routine will contribute to a healthy and vibrant Anthurium pedatoradiatum.

How to care for your

Anthurium pedatoradiatum

About care instructions

Plant care can vary depending on placement, light and exact environment. You can always request plant care help here.

Water: 1-2 weeks

Let the soil dry out 50-70% between watering. You can either stick a chopstick or your finger in to make sure the top at least 2 inches of soil are dry or lift the pot to see if it feels a bit light. Water thoroughly and make sure to pot in well-draining soil with drainage holes. Depending on the season and light, you will need to water the plant every 1-2 weeks.

Sun:

This plant needs at least a few hours of direct sun every day. Perfect for a space that faces a south-facing window or directly in your east and west-facing windows. Anything less, and you should consider getting a grow light. It can be placed outside in the summer, where it gets at least a few hours of direct sun a day.

Humidity: high

This plant likes high humidity. Try to keep a minimum of 50%. Having it close to your humidifier or essential oil diffuser would be amazing.
