This sedum features rosettes of small, succulent blue leaves with a soft, powdery-white coating. Clusters of star-shaped yellow flowers bloom just above the foliage in summer. The evergreen leaves take on a striking red tint in cooler temperatures. Ideal for troughs and scree gardens.
'Cape Blanco' may not be as reliable as other sedum cultivars but is still hardy to Zone 5. Winter wet may cause root rot. Loss of this species is often confused with hardiness issues.
