Dracaena marginata, or the Madagascar Dragon Tree, is a popular, low-maintenance houseplant best known for its slender, upright canes topped with clusters of thin, sword-like green foliage. While it closely resembles a palm, it is actually a highly adaptable and drought-tolerant plant. It is also remarkably responsive to pruning, allowing it to be shaped and grown into a variety of unique, architectural forms.
The Magenta variety is defined by its deep, striking red or magenta-toned edges. The leaves are primarily a dark, forest green, which creates a sharp contrast against the saturated, jewel-toned margins.
