Inspired Interiors takes a look at some of our favourite spaces and the people behind them.
House.506 is one of our favourite spaces on Instagram. The house is a passion project of Yasmine and Mert, that allows them to express their love for art, interiors, music and plants.
We stopped by to take some photos and learn more about how the couple blends a range of styles together so seamlessly. They have collected plants from us over the past year or so and we wanted to learn more about their eclectic aesthetic.
Yasemin and Mert started sharing photos of their loft on the internet as House.506 during the lockdowns. Staying at home more gave them time to collect art, plants, and objects that inspired them.
Their home is a combination of two collections. They both had collections from their previous living situations and found ways to create a space that feels curated and eclectic without sacrificing coziness.
Our favourite elements of their home are the fantastic sound system and, frankly, their windows. The piece of art they highlighted for us is by Belmin Pilvneli, which hangs between their kitchen and a foyer.
Although most pieces came from their previous places, they continue to add to their collection to enhance the space. They share their space with their retriever Junior who was more than happy to pose for a photo.
House.506 features many small plants in all parts of the home, as well as larger statement pieces.
