The peperomia plant is a great choice for a novice plant owner. They are forgiving and can tolerate some neglect.
There are more than 1,000 known species, all with thick, fleshy leaves that contribute to their drought tolerance and vigor.
The watermelon peperomia feature silver variegation on the leaves and a striking purple stem.
Light: Medium to bright indirect so don't put this in the middle of hot south or west facing window.
Water: Let it dry out between waterings, that should be every 10 days in the winter and as often as ever 5 days in the spring/summer.
