Ficus elastica: “Tineke” Rubber Plant Tree in 14" Nursery Pot
Ficus elastica has many names including the rubber fig, rubber bush, rubber tree, rubber plant. Named now of the 17 best indoor plants by Architectural Digest, it is also one of the plants studied by NASA that has air purifying qualities. It isis a species of plant in the fig genus, native to eastern parts of South Asia and Southeast Asia.

Light: Medium light is ideal. It will grow faster in bright rooms, but too much direct sun will burn the leaves.
Water: Water sparingly, about once a month in the winter and as often as every 2 weeks in the spring./summer.
Humidity: Normal humidity works so don't put it directly in front of a vent, but it also won't complain if you don't have a big humidifier beside it.
